2. In The Meantime, Run a Reverse Phone Search on the Number

If you have a call-display service, or if you have access to basic phone line commands like " *69 ", then you'll have the perpetrators number that they've been calling from. This is often a cellular phone or generic phone line of some kind (business phone or even a payphone).

Side Note: After you receive the offensive call, pick up the phone and dial: *69
This is the standard command for most landline services for providing an audio version of a "call display", which will dictate the previous incoming number.
